SHINee debuted in 2008 under the S.M. Entertainment label. During the same year, U-KISS, Davichi, and 2AM also debuted. The fanclub name for Taemin, “Taemints”, came from the Replay 누나 너무 예뻐 era… Taemin used to keep candy in his bag and give it to his noonas so it became Taemin+Mint (candy)= Taemint

Hi! Thanks for giving feedback, I tried to look for the origin of his fans’ name and I saw that story, but I saw a few other ones, too. Are there two websites with that same story on it? That’s how we try to make sure we have good info, if it can be confirmed then it’s probably correct. We’re always looking to make corrections, though!
