My writing experience is about Hallyu as soft power of Korea. In my first research project, I found that Hallyu has become a tool of Korean diplomacy. It is used to fulfill national interests of Korea, which are economic and imaging. Hallyu works as diplomacy through a culture that attract people around the world. My second research project is about how Hallyu is formed and how it works.I found that Hallyu is an unplanned phenomenon. It came as a result of the impact of globalization and technology development perceived by South Korea and the world. It works by bringing something that people like, the power to attract. This power can drive people to do something with Korean culture, like imitating, culture adoption and so on.
